Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is a regulatory initiative from the Financial Services Board (FSB) designed to reduce market conduct risks by driving a systemic focus on the fair treatment of customers.

In 2011, the FSB published its roadmap to implementation in the first quarter of 2014, and has since been supporting the industry with a useful self-assessment pilot and tool, designed to help organisations understand the gap between current practices and behaviours, and what it really means to embed TCF.

A white paper that explores the cultural drivers and principles for lasting success in TCF. It builds on the authors’ combined experiences of TCF implementation in the UK, and in helping businesses adopt the customer’s outside-in perspective.
